Manual filter press is an intermittent pressure filter device, used for solid-liquid separation of various suspensions, with good separation effect and easy use. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, dye, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, food, Papermaking, sewage treatment, and other fields that require solid-liquid separation are suitable for small-scale filtration industries. Generally, the filtration pressure is lower and the filtration pressure is less than 0.4Mpa.
The filter press is mainly composed of three parts, namely: the frame part, the filter part, and the compaction device. When the filter press works, turn the hand wheel, drive the screw through the small gears and large gears to push the pressure plate, and press the filter plate and filter medium (filter cloth) located between the pressure plate and the thrust plate. To ensure that the filtered material (slurry) with working pressure is filtered under pressure in the filter chamber.
(1) Frame part: The frame constitutes the basis of the filter press and is used to support the filter mechanism and connect other components. It mainly consists of a thrust plate, a pressing plate, a pressing portion and a main beam.
(2) Filtration section: It consists of filter plates arranged on the main beam in a certain order and filter media (filter cloth) sandwiched between the filter plates to form one filter unit (filter room).
(3) Compression part: It is the power unit of the filter press. The main components are small gears, large gears, lead screws, etc. The structure design of the whole machine is reasonable, the performance is stable and reliable, the operation is simple, the maintenance is convenient, and the scope of application is wide.

Widely used in petroleum, chemical, dye, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, food, papermaking and sewage treatment fields where solid-liquid separation is required .
